A Career in Discovery

The KnowAtom Seventh Grade STEM system focuses on the diversity of scientific and engineering careers. Middle school science and Common Core Standards are grouped into 12 units that include relevant background information as well as project materials, student lab manuals, and support assessments. Students ask and investigate questions relevant to fields ranging from chemistry and astronomy to environmental engineering and computer science. Seventh graders learn to clearly communicate their observations and data in laboratory notebooks as they follow the Scientific Method and Engineering Design Process.
